Majorica – The history of Majorica started in 1890, with the figure of an innovative German entrepreneur, Eduardo Hugo Heusch, whose fascination by pearls inspired him to manufacture artificial pearls. Heusch found the craftsmanship and tradition he was looking for in Manacor. Since then, the head office of Majorica has been established on the island of Mallorca, one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. This was the start of a tradition and a profession, a passion for trends and fashion in jewelry, from which the Majorica we know today was to emerge. Throughout generations, the artisans have improved and perfected the handcrafted process of organic man-made pearls that mirrors that of cultured pearls.
With more than 100 years’ experience, Majorica provides its pearls and jewels with an indubitable guarantee of quality. Each Majorica piece is accompanied by a 10 year International Warranty Certificate entitling the owner to request a free replacement of any pearls that show a manufacturing defect or deterioration not attributable to improper use.
