Jamie Kole
Upon graduating from Parson’s School of Design in New York City, Jamie Kole entered the field of cosmetic package design. In time she realized that the opportunity for expressing her true artistic vision was not possible within this framework. She set off in a new direction and began working with a renowned fashion designer in Soho.
Surrounded by spectacular vintage couture found in this designer’s workshop, Jamie discovered her passion for collecting and wearing these timeless treasures. This passion evolved into her unique style of dress that people have come to know as “Jamie.” She soon discovered that the accessories needed to complete her personal fashion story were non-existent. This inspired her to create her very first jewelry collection. Kole’s new collection, while both contemporary and vintage in its appeal, continues to lend the tradition of fine detail, femininity and impeccable workmanship inherent in the beautifully crafted fashions of the early to mid 1900’s.
Each piece is meticulously hand sculpted using Australian crystals over sterling silver or 14karat gold-filled wire. The artist orchestrates a magical interplay of light, form and movement to achieve her vision of delicate whimsy.
